Cherries Divine - Indulge in Perfection!

Foodpreneur:Cherries Divine

Andy Freeman

About the Foodpreneur:

I’m passionate about my faith, my family, food, and golf!  Though not a chef, I love creating in the kitchen and sharing my culinary creations with others. Turning a hobby and passion into a successful business is a dream come true.  I believe the old adage "Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life."

The Cherries Divine Biz:

We took an old time classic recipe, chocolate covered cherries, and put a modern day spin on it. We hand coat long stemmed colossal cherries with a sweet butter cream before dipping in only the finest couverture chocolate.  We add finishing touches by swizzling with a contrasting chocolate for a dynamic presentation.  As if this were not enough, we then package our decadent creations in exquisite packaging allowing them to be shipped nationwide.  Both individuals and corporate businesses continue to be blown away with the WOW factor that this delicious gift evokes.

Andy new his cherries were divine when:

A successful chocolatier said "As a chocolatier there are very few confections out there that tempt me... I was delighted to see and taste a family recipe that is true to life. The Freeman's hand dipped style of candy making is truly an art form on a platter. I highly recommend Cherries Divine to all of my friends, family and colleagues that want a taste from the past brought into a new delicious shining light."

Why is Andy in the food business?

I enjoy sharing the wealth of good cuisine and bringing pleasures to others through the palate.

Words from the wise:

RESPECT YOUR CHOCOLATE!  Chocolate is an animal unlike any I have ever seen.  One day it's great the next day it's a nightmare.  Other than a few hurdles we are having a blast!

Foodpreneur says:Cherries Divine Packaging

When you have the box in your hands your expectations for the contents become very high.  The packaging is truly beautiful and would not disappoint even a top level CEO.  My concerns were quickly put to rest with the first bite.  It was like I was in the middle of a cherry eating contest with myself.  I forgot everything my mother taught me about learning to share as I sat selfish and satisfied.   Andy stays true to what he loves.  When asked if he has any plans of other food ventures he said, "I won my girlfriend (now my wife) over with my famous "FREEBIRD'S" shrimp and grits. (Freebird is my nickname) The first time I cooked for her this is what I made and it knocked her off her feet!  We plan to open a restaurant in the future called FREEBIRD"S and this will be a special on our menu."
