Bruce Cohn, founder and proprietor of B.R. Cohn Winery and Olive Oil Company, has embraced a lifelong passion for Northern California's wine country and its bounty. An equally strong passion for music led to a parallel career in the music industry as the manager for one of rock n' roll's perennially favorite American bands, The Doobie Brothers. His down-to-earth attitude, focus and dedication have made both careers flourishing successes to this day.

Since its founding in 1990, B.R. Cohn Olive Oil Company has greatly contributed to the emergence of California olive oil as a global competitor. One of the first olive oils produced in Sonoma County in nearly a century, B.R. Cohn's Sonoma Estate Picholine Extra Virgin Olive Oil have ranked consistently as a top California offering, winning numerous local and international awards as well as accolades from the gourmet world.  We also offer artisanal-quality extra virgin olive oils, and as a natural complement to the olive oils, four wine-inspired vinegars, a dipping oil, and traditional Balsamic Vinegars imported from Modena.

Sitting on over 100 acres in Sonomo County, Bruce has positioned himself to be a true leader in the industry.  Starting as a wine company in 1984, then branching out into the olive oil business has allowed his nicely pairing brands to market each other.  The products have one multiple awards that have also helped market the product.  Bruce's dedication to offering a high-end product at a reasonable price is really hard to beat.  Bringing an olive oil production back to California must have been quite a challenge!  It is the dedication to succeed that turn former challenges into inspiring success stories.
